The History
and Philosophy of Trouvé
Our Inspiration:
"I
like to think of a vision or a dream as the path cutter.
Like a machete, it clears the way, so that with your actions,
you can follow through. But without the initial visionary
stage, you have no direction, no path to walk on." -Josie
Celio
Josie and Allison live in the Placerville
area. They met while their children were attending the
same home school co-op. As the two women came to know each
other they became close friends and kindred spirits.
Despite being a busy mom and wife Josie
was always concocting time saving inventions that women
could use in their everyday lives. Unfortunately these
inspired ideas always remained locked
away in her mind. That is until Josie shared one such invention
with Allison; a container with a vented rim on the bottom
that the lid snaps onto for easy storage.
"I will never forget the morning that Josie called
me, excited about her latest inspiration. My jaw dropped.
You see, at the moment the phone rang, I was sitting on
my kitchen floor in the middle of sorting through a mountain
of mismatched lids." It was then that Allison stepped
in with her encouraging spirit and together they walked
out onto their vision.
And so began the journey of two ordinary women who found
strength and courage through each other's extraordinary
gifts.
Our Philosophy
Both Josie and Allison share the desire to give their very best to their customer,
in product quality, and service. They are also advocates of supporting women,
in busines, in homemaking and everything in between. They are in the process
of building a network of woman owned site links and would love to hear from
you if you would like to exchange links.
Who We Are:
Josie lives with her husband
Aaron and three children, plus three horses, two dogs,
4 cats, 3 goats and a leopard gecko. She enjoys getting
her hands into just about anything creative, including
cooking, decorating, painting, photography and writing.
She heads up the creative/design department of Trouve
Enterprises.
Allison lives with her husband Steve
and three children, and like Josie, her family is always
job one, but somehow she manages to run a horseranch as
well as building a business in Trouve! Allison heads up
the operations/administration, has a gift for keeping order
in the financial end of things (thank God!), and is greatly
appreciated by Josie, who panics at the sight of paperwork. |
